We do not currently list a fiber mill in Alabama.
This page previously named two mills. Checking them directly in August 2026 found that neither is in Alabama: Soundview Fiber Mill is in Shelton, Washington, and America's Natural Fiberworks is in Somerville, Ohio. Both were listed here because our original data had no location for them at all, and Alabama was the fallback. Both listings have been corrected.
Rather than leave recommendations we know to be wrong, we would rather say plainly that this is a gap in our coverage. Alabama has fiber producers, and almost certainly has mills we have not found yet.

Many mills accept fiber by post, so the closest one is not always the right one. Minimum order, turnaround and what a mill will actually take matter more than the distance — several mills in our directory are not accepting new customers at all right now, which no amount of proximity fixes.
